Guest Nails: Amanda

I actually did her nails over two weeks ago, and I just now got around to posting these pics. Remember my Champagne Tiger mani? Well, I basically did the same for Amanda, except with a dark red polish. I really liked the way they turned out.

Ignore the lack of clean up.
I'm lazy when it comes to that!

I think the black striping pattern goes much better with this red than the nasty peach I had. Wish I had remembered to add some glitter stripes too. That would've looked pretty cool. (Amanda, if you are reading this, can I do your nails for Valentine's Day? I'm thinking hot pink!)

Black and Gold Revisited

I really like stamping black polish over gold nails. It's so pretty.

This mani turned out nice.

Let's get this out of the way. . .

Right, somehow I was given the Sylish Blogger Award four times. Hot damn! I feel so special that people actually care to look here. Thanks guys!

But, to be honest, I'm very lazy when it comes to answering these things. So let's pass this thing on!

I was award by these special blogging ladies (and I thank all of you!):
Diava's Lacquer Box
Let Them Have Polish
Northern Nails
Polishology

Rules for this award:
1. Thank and link the person who gave you this award. (Hee, I gots four to thank!)
2. Share 7 things about yourself. (Damn it.)
3.  Award 15 recently discovered great bloggers. (But, that's half my list. . .)
4. Contact these bloggers to tell them about this award. (More work?!)

Here goes:
- Onions make me cry.
- I've recently fallen flat on my butt. In public. (I tripped going UP stairs.)
- I hate chick flicks.
- I've broken more windows, mirrors, glassware, and several bottles of nail polish (completely on accident) more often than I care to.
- My dream job is to become an international assassin. (Too bad thing #2 hinders me)
- I'm not afraid to get shot at or stabbed, but I'm terrified of things that go "bump" in the night.
- Rainbows make me cry. (I'm lying)

Fifteen bloggers, huh? Well, since I only follow about 37 bloggers and I was given this award four times, I'll just give everyone I follow the award! However, I'm not going to list everyone here. Everyone I follow should be visible on the right under "Addicts I Stalk." Check those puppies out!

Gotta catch 'em all!

"I wanna be the very best,
     like no one ever was.
To catch them is my real test,
to train them is my cause. . ."

Eh, eh? Know what I'm singing? It's Pokemon! (If you've never heard of it. . .what rock have you been living under?!)

I've been crocheting different Pokeball hats for my brother (I've done a Pokeball, Master Ball, and a Dive Ball so far), and as I was finishing up a hat, it hit me- do a Pokeball mani! Dur!

Let me tell you right now, my freehand is horrendous. So yes, my mani is sloppy. But I got the job done.

Love this mani! If you can name the balls I chose to paint (without googling it), then you are a true Pokefan!! Also, you're a nerd like me. Be proud, nerds!

One comment- I am a fan of the original 151 Pokemon and I'm ok with Johto ones, but every single one that was created after that. . . *shakes head* No thank you. Too much, too crazy for my taste.

Champagne Tiger. . .?

Finally found me some E.L.F. polish! Unfortunately, the only selection I had to choose from was pinks and reds. Dang. Still, I got three colors and this one is Champagne. It's peachy. It's pinky. It's slightly shimmery. It's totally not for me.

I wore this color for about a day; it was about all I could handle. The color really didn't sit well with my skin tone. I felt like I had old lady hands. Not good. So, I do what I always do- used my Bundle Monster plates!

Smeared a little. Whoops.

I even used a silver glitter striping polish (from the dollar store, of course) to add some accents to the stripes.

Wha-bam! Much better. Although somewhat bolder as well. Whatever. I enjoyed this mani much more than I thought I would.

Suede Pumps, Bitch.

Sorry if my title offends anyone. It's what popped into my head while I was painting my nails this color. It's too damn sexy! I half wanted to find someone to backhand just because the color looked fitting. (Of course, then I would've gotten my butt whooped).

Tres Risk- Suede Pumps.
Oh yeah.

Stamped from my Bundle Monster plates with You're A Gem by Tres Risk. (These polishes are amazingly gorgeous!)

Back on schedule (I hope)

Freaking holidays throwing me all out of sync with my schedule. You'd think I'd actually have more time to blog. Nope. I'm so glad things are starting to settle down again.

So (belatedly), THESE are the nails that I wore for New Year's Eve when I went out with some of my friends. I studded the sh*t out of my nails.

I used round rhinestones on my ring finger and square stones on the rest of my hand. I put a coat of whatever polish matched the stones as a base on each nail too.

I got sick of how many friggin' top coats I had to put on to prevent the stones from falling off. (It was close to 10. . .ugh).

Champagne toast!
Pros- My nails looked fabulous for a night! And they were so damn fun to wear! I got so many comments on them (damn right too, I spent forever on them).
Cons- They only last that night. Haha. Everything fell off the next morning. I'm still picking up stones from inside my car.

Crazy. I think I'm going to order me some more of those square stones, I really liked them.

Good Lord.

First off, let me apologize for being out of action for a while. I am visiting my family and my brother took full reign of my laptop (so no blogging for me). I am so sorry ladies! Instead of going through with this DUEL, I want to ask all my followers if they did a sweet manicure to ring in the new year (I sure did, just wait until you see it!). If anyone is willing to email me their mani pics by this Saturday, I would love to do a New Year post! (Hell, if you haven't done a mani yet, do one real quick and send THAT in!) Again, I am so sorry (especially to Sara Jean and xnosugaraddedx)!!
Now, to somewhat make up for being gone, I did separate manis on each hand. *And no, this is NOT my New Year mani.* Started off with silver.

Now, on my LEFT hand, I did a crescent moon near the cuticles.

And on my RIGHT hand, I made imitation plaid stripes.
